Born and raised in New York, Deborah attended P.S. 40 from kindergarten until sixth grade. She spent her middle school and high school years at Friends Seminary. After graduating from Tufts University, Deborah obtained her Masters in History at Columbia University and wrote a thesis on “Prelude to Feminism in Eighteenth Century England”. She received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and spent eighteen years as a healthcare attorney. Deborah is most grateful to be the mother of her two grown children.
